Estate Closure
At RHEA Services, we work to provide relief, healing, empathy, and advocacy by providing assistance and administrative support during the end of life transition. From making phone calls to closing accounts, we'll be here every step of the way so you can keep your head and heart where they need to be. Whether you're a partner, relative, or friend, you can lean on us during this difficult time, knowing all the details are taken care of.
How:
Our virtual services are designed to ease the burden of this difficult time. Through video chat, e-mail, and phone we'll work with you every step of the way in a style that fits your needs. We will support the bereaved by completing administrative tasks required to finalize an estate: closing accounts, canceling appointments, finalizing social media accounts, or connecting people with the resources they need. |
Examples:
Task organization
Contact necessary personnel
Provide resources for additional support (food, clean up, donations, etc.)
Cancel future appointments and existing memberships
Close/memorialize social media accounts
Contact agencies for account owner changes (cable, cell phone, etc.)
"Our family had a very stressful year last year. Within 3 months, we lost both my Mother and my husband’s Mother. Two days after my Mother’s funeral, we became full-time caregivers for my Mother-in-Law when she moved in with us for the last few months of her life. Sarah was a great asset and assistance is settling their affairs. She was willing and able to offer much assistance in tracking down some of the contacts we needed to settle things such as life insurance policies, close out utility accounts, and make sure we didn’t miss any important settlement details. If she didn’t know the answer to any of our questions, she found a way to get the answers we needed, saving us much time and frustration. Handling your loved one’s affairs while grieving is a difficult process and Sarah made the process as smooth as possible."
